Kernow Planning Services provides expert planning advice and guidance based on years of experience working with Local Government Planning Authorities, architects, developers, builders and private individuals. We focus on giving expert advice to provide the best possible outcome for our clients and take pride in the fact that customers are guided through the process and given constant feedback from the initial consultation, through to final approval.
Planning can be a minefield, with countless variations on different types of applications that can be submitted, sometimes just knowing the right route to go forward with your project can save significant amounts of time and money as opposed to going down a potential dead end. We can help to avoid that by design and, in the event that your project has already met that dead end by way of a tricky planning condition or a refused application, we can help to potentially unlock the project and move it forward.
At Kernow Planning Services, we have first-hand experience of working within local government enforcement teams. This gives us a thorough understanding of complex issues regarding ongoing Enforcement investigations and can help us to advise you to work towards the best possible outcome if you are currently experiencing an issue with compliance.
Kernow Planning Services was started by Andrew Parsons, initially to provide consultancy services solely to Local Government Authorities. The business has later been opened up to provide advice, guidance and consultancy services to members of the public on all things related to planning.
Andrew has worked for Local Planning Authorities for a number of years, initially as an apprentice before progressing quickly through various roles within planning, where he showed an aptitude that was quickly recognised and rewarded with rapid job progression.
He went on to work as a Planning officer and Compliance officer for a number of Local Planning Authorities in the UK and in the Channel Islands. Andrew also worked in the private sector as a planning consultant for a nationwide practice, providing advice, guidance and strategy to householders, architects, developers and builders on a variety of projects, large and small.
